Tiffany N. Smith-Nguyen, Esq.

Tiffany N. Smith-Nguyen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and subsequently received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Committed to public service, Tiffany dedicated significant time to community advocacy during and after law school through organizations including Voices for Children, the Lawyers Club of San Diego, and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego. In recognition of her contributions, she received two Outstanding Service Awards and was awarded the State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services.

Tiffany has built an extensive legal practice in community association law, representing clients throughout San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties. As an active member of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), she co-authored CAI Connect Magazine’s 2016 Article of the Year, further establishing her reputation as a thought leader in the industry.

A respected educator and speaker, Tiffany regularly presents at professional seminars and teaches CAI Board Leadership Development classes. She continues to provide guidance on a broad range of issues affecting common interest developments, including emerging legal and operational considerations surrounding the integration of artificial intelligence. Most recently, she served as a featured speaker at CAI’s 2026 Legal Symposium, sharing insights on the evolving challenges and opportunities facing community associations.
