Kyle E. Lakin, Esq.

Kyle E. Lakin graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. In 1998 he graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school Mr. Lakin received training as a mediator through the San Diego Mediation Center (now National Conflict Resolution Center) and mediated disputes through the USD Pro Bono Program.

Kyle has diverse legal experience, including interning with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, serving as in-house counsel for a regional brokerage firm, and litigating various business, real property, construction, contract, and consumer disputes collectively involving hundreds of millions of dollars in claims.

In 2007, he was named a Rising Star by Southern California Super Lawyers, and was a Barrister member of the American Inns of Court, the Honorable Fiorenzo V. Lopardo Chapter, from 2009 to 2015. In 2008, he served as a volunteer deputy district attorney through the Orange County District Attorney’s Trial Assistance Program. In 2012 and 2013, Mr. Lakin was a semi-finalist in the San Diego Daily Transcript’s “Top Attorneys in San Diego” in the category of Real Estate and Construction Litigation.
